Isn't a VIS brand a carbon hood?? Interesting how you're considering a hood like that, you have 26“ wheels, but you “barf“ at hood pins....
oh well, I'm not too concerned with it.

Did you have to trim the grill shell for clearance at all?
VIS is a carbon fiber hood but it WILL BE painted they are the lightest good looking hood for a GMC i can find.. i'm not a ricer and will not have an UNPAINTED carbon fiber hood nor hoodpins and yes those are the fasteners i am thinking of...

are you hating on my "style" with the 26's if so keep it to yourself... cause it is MY style and i am not a follower... if i misunderstood you.. my bad

All the couplers will be matching colors when finished.

Nice setup. Really clean plumbing. Cutting the cold pipe length should really help lag time.

You might want to swap out that Douglas Fir for some Redwood. It won't rot out as fast...

Interested to see if shortening the cold piping helps with lag. I Just recently moved my 4" interocooler up in the grill and setup my cold side like yours was setup never really thought about shortening it tho.

Since I have no AC and E fans, I simply moved my radiator towards the motor 1 inch and then I could get my intercooler in. I have about 1.5 inches between the intercooler and radiator now which isnt much, but havent had any problems getting hot yet. Very easy to do and I didnt have to cut anything up.
