ok, they were the discount auto parts wires. i will have to go exchange them tomorrow. got the new plugs in. it didn't change a damn thing. well, its not as lean as it was but still tries to die as it idles. its like it forgot the entire idle tune. i logged misfire and only number one did anything. it popped up every once in a while. i do have all the misfire stuff set pretty high in the tune though. its idling real low, like 500 rpm and it dies down and the whole motor shakes then it comes back up again.

literally a plug change. that's it. and i welded up the manifold cracks. the power at high boost seems to be back now with the 6's back in. it pulled really hard even though it was 9-10 rich and was pulling timing due to iat. running about 14-15* of timing. about 190-200 kpa. but i added fuel with real time tuning at idle and it went from crazyness to straight idle. it idles like a champ at 13.5-14.

Could it be that the old plugs were so wore out that they weren't burning the fuel so it looked right? But now that there are good plugs and it's burning all the fuel it's too lean? I'm lost as ****.

i went ahead and started making some changes in the tune. i save it as a new tune though. the rim part of the br7ef's i just took was black and the tang portion was white. some more than others, number 2's plug was bearly black where as 7,5,8,6,were the blackest. iirc

Just shooting from the hip here. Maybe before your spark sucked due to shitty plugs, now its burning the fuel properly its leaner. Maybe this is why you need fuel added, also your leaks are fixed so I would expect the turbo is spooling faster and you are hitting RPM/KPA combo's you may not have before. How much did you have to add at idle?
