ported fast 90, 241 heads with MLS gaskets and PRC dual springs, 230/236 .595/.601 115+2 cam, ARP rod bolts, Trick flow PRs, rollmaster double timing chain, LS7 lifters. bascially all my 408 parts carried over into the 4.8.
plans are to get my feet wet with tuning this motor for boost. the 408 will get rebuilt or i might just buy another 408. as for power i have no idea i would like to see 6xx to wheels being a manual. i really only plan to run off the wastegate at 15.2. thats the spring i have. i do have a boost controller. now if for some reason truck goes low 11s and im so close to 10s i can taste it i will crank that bitch and push as much as i need to to go 10s.
its a 02 4.8 with only 7k miles on it i paid 250 bucks for it. so if i blow this up its not like im losing much money i just hope the cam and turbo dont go with it. now if i lose the 408 again i would be highly pissed. so 250 dollar motor is a nice learning curve

I know i should use stainless but truck wont be driven in weather since its a toy and not a my DD. maybe down the road ill redo it in stainless
