I just didn't want something too radical. It sounds a bit radical. The lsa sounds a bit low. Wouldn't it chop a bit a idle with that 115lsa?
I like the big cam specs, but I don't want too much. It's a big jump over the GT2-3 cam I was originally going with.......

i think that there should be a greater difference in the durations for the FI but thats just me. the LSA isnt bad at all, i think it'll have a decnt idle. along thos cam lines though, i would should a 218/224 .58x 116

Question

These cam specs are what Allen Nelson wants to use in my motor with my mods.
Just don't know what the final outcome will be with this cam.
At first he proposed a 220/220/.570/.570/117lsa.
What are the differences in reliability between this one and the 222/224/.580/.580/115?

I was hoping for a little cam chatter, but reliability is key.
The stock lsa may be 114, but not with a .580 lift or a split duration of 222/224. Will that give a little lope at a 115lsa?

yes it should lope at 115 but not that much. there shouldnt be any difference in reliability between the two really. the 115 will be heard much more than the 117 though

You've got the advice of one of the most notable tuners out there. Me, I would take it!
