Default Here are my thoughts

Unfortunately as I was nearing completion of my swap I rushed it and left the engine bay a mess and I think it would be easier to just pull the 5.3 to clean it up. Now who pulls an engine and puts the same one back in? Not I.

So I'm thinking about picking up an LQ9 and going through it cleaning, modifying, and fixing items I see as fit but I've never torn down an engine so there's one thing going against me.

So far I'm thinking ARP rod bolts, ARP head bolts, Vinci XXX (222/228 115 LSA .551"/.551"), PAC 1218's, gap the rings (Unsure of desired gaps for S/C engine despite searches), and leave the heads untouched.

Run the motor like that N/A in front of my built 4L60e till I can afford a S/C kit and to swap in a built 4L80e. I'm thinking either a MP112 or TVS 1900, I know the TVS will yield better performance but I think I may be able to reach my goal of an 11 sec. truck with the MP112. I'm thinking around 12# is how much I'm going to want to run, also with the S/C I'm thinking about some meth and I'll have an intercooler sitting behind a diesel bumper. I know the fuel system will need to be upgraded but as far as the injectors go I'm also unsure of what size I'll need.

Currently my truck has 3.42 and an open diff but I plan to have 4.10's and some sort of LSD relatively soon.

The truck will definitely see more time on the street but will see a decent amount of the track also, I'm not too big on high speed, I just like being able to get to high speeds quickly

So please praise, critique, or criticize my plans oh ye FI gods of pt.net.

trever1t got 11s on his 112 and 5.3. I think It could be out of breath with a 6.0 though at 12#. TVS would be better, look at Tim Z.

That's what I was thinking about an MP112 but y'all are the experts here, Tim Z's truck is the one I've constantly been finding videos of on youtube
