Gotta wrap up loose ends. New oil leak (was told I likely broke oil sending unit) since it leaks near back of block.
I thought maybe I bumped my already loose fitting dipstick. When I put in my Dynatech LTs, I broke that little tack weld / spot on tab for little bolt that attaches to dipstick tube - block. Wondered if blower creates extra crankcase pressure & pushed stick out further than it was already?
That's if it's not oil press. sending unit (OPSU). BTW, any got pics / p/n from say Snapon or Mac, of (OPSU) socket?
I'll snoop 'round w/. an inspection mirror as soon as I can.

Then, or rather in addition to oil leak...
Replace o2's, I'll tune trans & speedo back for 255/70/16 not 275's I had on & how it's setup now, run gauges / wiring, make custom gauge mounts. Then get dynotuned. The trans / speedo tuning I can do since that's usually a personal taste thing, dynotune will be done by a good shop. Lot to do before results on dyno & track, but finally gettin things goin the right direction.

And other stuff, but I mean just where I'd feel more comfy w/. blower. Both it's tune & monitoring happenings goin forward.

No need for an expensive socket, just get the OEM brand socket from your local autoparts store. Ive used that one for years with no problems. It doesnt take much to hurt those sending units, I busted one myself back in teh day. Id recommend just getting a new dipstick tube too. I imagine someone on here has one theyd let go for fairly cheap.

Confirmed: pesky Oil Sending Unit!!!

Thanks Jarrod & Roger.

I'm sure not lookin fwd to this, w/. blower on there.

Super difficult to see, but is it secured w/. a little 10 or 13mm bolt, or only need that special Sending Unit skt?
1 thing's for sure, I need some more inspection mirrors.

Its just a deep socket like 1 1/8 or something like that.

I actually bought the GM kent moore tool because it supposedly had a special design for the sending unit. I later found out a 1/2 in drive sockets fits just the same with a 3/8 reducer. I didn't have a 3/8 socket big enough to try
