help with some cam ideas?

Well the 5.3 is on its way out. We think it the rings so instead of tearing into this motor I'm going to try and pick up a lq4 in the near future. The trucks a 2004 sierra ext cab 4x4 I have a kbracing turbokit with the cxracing 76mm with a 1.15 A/R here's my plans so far
Lq4
317 heads.
Brian tooley duel springs and push rods
Ls6 lifters
ARP head bolts.
Just not sure on the cam.
I want something that spools up nicely but has good mid-upper range I already have traction issues as is. Also would like a nice choppy idle if possible . I'm over the sleeper look. I plan on running 12 - 14 psi and do have a 4l80 and 3000 converter in the truck

Stock48 used the triple 12 in his truck with the 6.0 that got him into the 9s IIRC.
Main thing is especially since you're 4wd, you want to keep as much low-mid range torque that you can. Honestly, it wouldn't hurt to send him a message and see what he suggests.

Gotcha. Yea I'll shoot him a pm. Figured I'd ask what you guys have been having good luck with. My current set up runs strong. Like it wish it pulled a little better up top but its fun. I know the 6.0 will help that out a lot just wanna do it once and be done haha
