Typically I agree but since this is my DD, it appeals to me that I can get the L33 built on the stand and just spend a weekend swapping it out. I got the shortblock cleaned up and cam installed today. Need to buy valve springs and get them shipped asap!!!

No I have not. From the cars I have run it should be upper 12s. I don't really care though. The city tore down our beloved K.C.I.R. so nearest track is over an hour away. I just enjoy driving a fun truck daily.

You didn't make it to the mustang/f-body meet did you? I only got a couple races in then, whooped on a duramax, and was raped by a full bolt on, nitrous, stalled G8, and the Lightning below.

Your dyno numbers in your sig make me believe I make more power than I originally thought. I raced a friends 2nd gen Lightning, intake, tune, smaller blower pulley, 13#. From about a 45, he jumped in front, I stopped his pull and went right on by him.

It's ALIVE! Still have some finishing touches to do and a final tune but holy hell what a difference. I went from stock 4.8 with Masterpower T70 to a Cam'd L33 5.3 with a Turbonetics TC78.
