putting headers on make the engine more efficient, which results in a drop in "boost" levels. putting too much on "what happened to my boost" vs "hey, i just picked up 40hp and the iat's are a lot cooler" id chose the latter of the two.

So if my thinking is correct get the headers and a pulley to gain about 3# more I should be safe and the gain will be good as for the cam I'm still in the air on it

Just make sure you get it tuned when you add the boost etc.

Also make sure you have enough fuel pump and injector to support more boost.

What pulley are you getting for your Whipple, if it's the standard 3-5/8" pulley, you'll be lucky to see 6psi, less if you're running LT's. The 3-3/8" pulley will make about 8psi with LT's and 9psi without. I actually didn't gain much with the LT's but I'm still working on my tune and I'm waiting for some cooler temps.

I would install the blower and exhaust and see what boost your running. Then run the pulley needed to get the desired boost level.
