congrats rob, that is very impressive. You make most of these guys here with big motors jealous! ........ some of the post here are way out of line and if you make a post regarding info on someone else's truck.... you need to have a little knowledge about the facts you are posting.
The efficiency of a turbo isn't directly related to only back pressure. You can't say a 70mm and a 76 mm are both as efficient as the other. Yes the make the same MAP pressures but doesn't mean that they are serving the correct purpose. You can make 20 psi on each, and one will turn into a heat pump to make that boost before the other one does. As for meth, as far as I am concerned its like running race gas or nitrous, you can keep the timing up and decrease detonation to increase power. Some guys here will know how to figure out the increase in 1 degree of timing offers X hp and then 1lb of boost offers X hp. I am willing to bet that timing make a ton of difference at 20 psi.
I understand the point playboy is making but you are going about it all wrong. Rob didn't try to measure dicks with anyone, he simply asked how much power has been made before, he obviously makes more than that number now regardless of how he got there..... Not to mention, today his truck is together and running on the track and putting some impressive numbers there as well. I am sorry, I don't know quick, I have seen his truck and it is a nice ride with tons of time and money invested, but he moved on to other things (twin turbo right) so a contest of what used to be vs. what is now doesn't matter.
The only way to go faster and be better is to try new combos, I will take up for smokeshow because he is trying new things and some of them fail but some of them work. He is learning what happened before and making it better next time.
No offense to anyone, I just think its childish to point fingers and call names.....
