guage questions

its got a curcuit card behind it. all inclosed. it would have to be thin and very small around.

would make since but i have little speaker/mic things in the head liner. one by me and the other in the back passenger area. it does have a wire going to it though.

Yeah that's there, but without the trans temp gauge there's nothing important there. I took a hole saw and drilled a 2" or so hole through the PCB.

I'm not sure that those are mics...I remember seeing them in my dad's Hoe and I concluded that they were inlets for the cabin temperature sensors (assuming you have the automatic climate control), but never verified it. I could be wrong.

oh, that sounds about right too.never thought of that. i always wonered how it knew the temp. lol

what size gauge did you put in there? PCB? whats that short for

Printed Curcuit Board?

My wideband gauge is a standard 2 1/16" gauge. Yeah, PCB = printed circuit board. You can also get smaller square gauges that are easier to mount in different locations if you don't want a full size one. Check Dyno Tune Nitrous....they have a lot of gauges, and also sell the Innovate widebands. I got a package deal.

well i took the cluster apart last night and it looks like i can drill it out. but how did you hold it steady to cut the hole out for the front piece? the part you actually see where the gauge goes in. now that i think about it how did you get the gauge in the hole?
