Default Going to build and install a custom/water-meth tank on the Truck.

Ok been driving and beating on this thing now for some time. going thru the hottest part of the year and now we are going to start turning the boost up. And since I have a FJO water/meth kit sitting here figured I would build a custom stainless steel tank. The area we will be playing with is just behind the over container. Seems to have a huge amount of room. Ok the picture is old the truck is not this dirty now, pic was during fittments.

If yall want, for the next few weeks or so I will type up about this install, and show the set ups and what nots.

You know I have never dyno'd it YET>. But the turbo is a Garrett GT-40 .58a/r. I use the stock manifolds with a front mount i/c. That part of the puzzle I should be able to get rid of real soon.
Its been a real blast to drive.

Nice setup...just a few questions, your IC pipe on the cold side makes that loop (I circled it in yellow), why didnt you go strait across (like on the orange line?)

So are you thinking of just laying platic over the area and cuttring out carboard templates and just fiberglassing the area or something? Then coating the glass withsomething? Or how are you going to get the tank into that area with all the iregular surface area? Would be a sweet place to mount it

That large pipe going to the throttle body? Its at a weird angle to clear the stock fan, I could not coume aross at that point. Looking at the electric stuff now to clean it all up.

We are going to make the stainless tank look like it belongs there. It will definitly have some unusual shape or sides to it. We will be mounting the pumps in that same area.

Thanks I might do that, I have a back ground in fabrication and a buddy has the break, roll and shear just waiting on me to lay it out.
Thanks for the info.
