I might be in for the 3 bolt DBW 90mm piece, depending on the $$$. Got a DBW core if needed. Also willing to beta one if he needs some real world testing...

I have a request in for a dual 3-4 bolt pattern. Looks like, at least intially, this throttle body will be offered on an exchange basis... using all factory gearing, springs, and electronics. This should speed things up a bit. As far as turn around time... I can only say that once Nick has billet 90mm throttle body's, blades, and shafts ready it should be pretty quick. This may change as testing nears completion...

Right now I have a couple of guys in mind for testing... I will also be testing and posting drivability and hopefully dyno results. I appreciate your offer and will keep you in mind.

looking good Bill!

will the NW TB be using the stock truck 78mm TB internals?

grippy,
Yes, he'll be doing a core exchange program. If you are not in a hurry you can get YOUR gears, springs, and electronics put on the new TB. Hopefully soon brotha.

say he makes a billet tb for a 3 bolt 78 mm, isnt the openign in the actual intake manifold still going to be 78 mm? so a nice upgrade would be going to a 90 mm intake with a biillet 90 mm tb with the 78 mm internals?

The 3 bolt pattern just gives more opportunities for guys to play with all kinds of other manifolds factory or aftermarket. For anybody considering a Kenne Bell kit... it is a 3 bolt pattern intake... this assuming the factory DBW throttle body will even mount to their intake. Notice in the pic on their website... it looks like an awefully tight fit for that cable TB...

Yes, bigger cube motors (I'd say 5.7L and up), especially NA will CERTAINLY enjoy 90mm intake manifolds and the 90mm TB's to go with... my hope is this will be a clean way to go 90mm as far as factory electronics go (TAC's, foot pedals, adaptor harnesses, etc). Bigger TB's are a huge plus to the draw through FI guys as been already proven... with perhaps a bit less, but still effective power gains, with the blow through FI guys...
