Default fuel System for TVS1900 on 06 4.8

Hey Fam,

Stock 4.8L. Has a walbro 255 upgrade, and adding a TVS1900 at 9psi of boost.

Does the 06 silverado need a fuel pump hot wire kit for this setup? I know my 1999 did.

thanks for the help

walbro 255 will be happier with a hot wire upgrade for sure, it will be right about at it's limits in your application so you definitely want it getting full voltage.

I made 550-600 rwhp on my stock returnless system with a 255 in-tank. Had 60lb injectors and an alky-control meth kit cranked all the way up.......It's tongue was hanging out though. Pressure was dropping rather quick and IDC's where out of control. But it did survive for quite some time like that.

My single 255 w/hot-wire kit tapped out around 9psi on a mild h/c 370 so I don't see why it wouldn't support 9psi on a stock 4.8. I would definitely do the hot-wire kit though as Walbros pull a few more amps than the stock pumps.
