Default Fuel system

Hey guys, need some help on a fuel system. Still have stock pump and injectors as of right now. Looking to go to FI setup, shooting for around 500 or so at the wheels. Truck specs are listed below, but I will be changing to a more boost friendly cam in the future also. What pump/injectors do you recommend?

Intank Walbro 255 pump and 42lb injectors.

Sometimes 42's arent enough, to be honest, I'd just go 60lb'ers the first time.

good luck with the build,
allen

I'm going with the 255 and the custom 60lb'ers (72 lbs at 99-02 fuel pressure) that are plug n plays.

60's up front are best for sure.

If you really wanna get crazy you can do twin walbro 255 intank pumps. As I have expereinced with my 04 silvy bein returnless fuel I have found the 60's to be hard to tune with the 60# constant FP. I am in the process of converting back to return style. Inline fuel filter is mounted and lines are ran. Just got to modify the bucket for the twins now.

I've got an intank 255 and the 48# Bosch (pink) injectors that come with the TVS1900. Looking to see how far they will get me. I'm shooting for the 500 mark eventually as well.

where's the best place to get the intank 255? Anything else needed to switch from factory style connector?

I ordered mine direct from Magnacharger. They have a kit that includes everything you need to install without cutting up the bucket for about $140. Simple 1 hour install and works like a charm.

When you upgrade to 42's (I also recommend 60's if you ever want to turn up the boost), you will need to pickup up some inexpensive pigtail connectors with the injectors. Who ever you order the injectors from will stock them. Takes a couple hours to install the injectors and solder in the pigtails. You will also have to have your tune reprogrammed for the larger injectors before you fire it up. If your tuner is close, you might be able to get away with driving over to their shop but you will be running way too rich and may run into some issues with the extra fuel washing the oil off the cylinders.
