Default fuel pump help again...

So the suburban died a few months ago...

We all talked on here about upgrading the fuel pump to a wlabro 255 in tank. I did that two months ago and the truck is dying now when it idels, and when you go wide open it just runs out of gas.

Saturday i was on the highway and it just quit would not restart.. i had to take a stick and beat on the tank to prim the pump again..

So i was talking to a shop yesterday and he said bring it in on thursday. He said that more than likey the 255 is sucking the fuel out of the bucket quicker than the bucket fills up. He said i was suppse to cut holes or slots in the bucket so fuel would always be there. He said we can try this and see how it work. here is a link one of my vette friends sent me... this is what i didnt know to do.. http://www.gonicd.com/intankinstall/...mpinstall.html

You think that would fix my problem?

His other option was to get a bigger inline pump and mount it on the frame and just do away with the intank pump..

So what are you suggestion on this. When the rest of my parts make it in it will be a 8.1L, whipple, cam, headers, and 65lb injectors...

going by whippled496's dynos i should make 650ish crank hp with this set up and close to 1000lbtq ..
