Fuel Pump
#1
I was wondering what kind of fuel pump can I run in my Caddy with the Radix kit. On the 2003 models you have to run a in-line fuel pump. Mine is whinning pretty loud and I was told the pump is starting to go that's why I am having problems with it. I found 2 fuel in-pump. One is 50-60psi and the other one is 100-125psi. Which would I put in. In the near future I wanna run a 3.1" pulley instead of the 3.3" I got on right now. Any help is appreciated, Thanks

I have a Walbro GSL392 External Fuel Pump. It is rated at 255LPH ( 66 GPH) at pressures up to 140 psi. From the looks of the performance graph it tops out at 125 psi as the performance above that drops off sharply. At a draw of 10 amps at 12 volts it will push 45 gph at 75 psi. At 12 amps and 13.5 volts it will push 52 gph at 85 psi. At 10 psi boost I see 67 psi on my fuel pressure guage which is about 48 gph hour with a draw of 9.5 amps at 12 volts.

You might want to check your intank pump. If that pump is going bad it will make the one inline work harder, and it will go bad sooner. Not sure how long you have had the system on your escalade, but we have a Procharger one on ours for 3 years now, and it still is working fine.
Aeromotive also has this product that will increase voltage to the inline pump under boost. That way the inline pump doesn't work as hard all the time.
