Fuel Mileage and a Procharger (what u getting)
#1
What kind of fuel mileage are you guys getting with the Prochargers? Ive heard some guys claim to get 19 and 20 mpg on the interstate but i think that is bs. I am running 9 lbs on a p1 and have been getting 11.8 city and just got 15.3 on a 400 mile trip highway driving. That was feather footed with the wife and kids in the truck. Is there such a thing as 19mpg on a FI truck? Some say no and some say with a proper tune it can be done. What do you guys think?

I don't think 15.3 hwy is bad considering you are (I think) full time 4wd and a 6.0. My setup gets 16~18 hwy. in 2wd with a 5.3 and 3.73 gears running an MP112. My truck weighs 5600lbs. empty too.

I get right around 20 in my truck... Course thats not in boost and driving easy, but its still possible. Keep in mind its much harder to get 20mpg at 90mph than it is at 70 lol.

Your highway mileage shouldn't drop too much from stock. A vacuum/boost gauge might help. You might be getting into boost before you thought you were. Also, you might ask Mr. Bear if there is the possibility that you are going into PE before you should on the highway.

I'm also a turbo but with the 5.3L I could get 20-21 on highway and 15-16 in town. Now the 370 with the 80e is a different story. I get 11 in town and the best I have got in interstate was 15.5 so far. The front mount makes it much harder to stay out of PE then the rear mount did so that is hurting me as well it seems.

Is it a new install? If it is, we all know it's hard to resist the boost. Let the new wear off and it should get a little better. But i have a 04 crew cab z71 w/ a procharger and i probably get 12 city 15 highway. Get about 10-11 highway pullin the boat

I don't have a procharger, but I have a rotrex, and I see the same mileage... around 13 on the interstate. If your truck is awd, and you have the 6.0, you are doing good. The denali, YD or SD, was never a "green" vehicle..lol
