Default Forged 5.7 pt 88 build

H Beams are here crank and heads have been to
FPI inspection were I work all is well no cracks
I ground valves and seats sat. 317's only had
4000 miles there in good shape but just wanted
To go threw them want all to be fresh will set
Them up and take .005 off just to square them up
Haven't decided on cam yet but looking at
Comp's LSR I know people on here are running
Isky's but this ant no flathead ford 😎 any way
Motor is apart all is clean and block is ready
For machine will order pistons this week
When they get here off to machine shop
Still need to order trick hot pipe kit along
With a bunch of other sheet but that's where
I'm at for the moment will update as I go
Shooting for March/April for install my plate is
Full but if god will n and the creek don't rise
This summer should be fun😬

I love my PT88 truck. Is it an iron or alum 5.7?

Kbracing kit. On 15lbs it made 662rwhp. On 19lbs it makes 713rwhp through a 4l80e and 14 bolt. You can search for "haba verde" for my truck build up.

Pick ur brain are you running .9 ar housing,
I'm going check out KB racing see what they
Got going ! I still need to get learn't on 60 to 80
Swap .haven't got my head around that yet all
Tho I found an 80e with a bolt on yoke think
It's out of a van just not sure what fits what
Will check out ur build thanx for the info

Yeah .96 ex housing, standard PT88. Get a 4l80e with a slip yoke, the bolt on yoke will be nothing but problems.

May wanna rethink the old ISKY cam. Smaller cams flat out work in these heavy trucks...they work well in cars also, check out Denmahs Fairmont over on Ls1 tech.

How much HP you looking for? I made about 800 on my forged 5.7 with a BW S475 and my hot pipes on about 15-16psi of boost. Also with an Isky "tripple 12" cam . Personally, I'd go with a BW over a precision 88.
