just wondering how do you know if your turbo setup needs a restrictor? would trick performance know? after the kit is built i hope it is hassle free. I dont feel like having to replace parts and tinker with it..

I was pushing a little bit past the seals but it was barley noticeable and didn't smoke. I put a Melling high volume pump in it and now it is really pushing it past the seals. I'm going to try a restrictor and see if that will fix it.

It should be I had the turbo rebuilt less than 500 miles ago. It is really tight and doesn't have any radial endplay.
I'm about ready to say f... It and throw my SW long tubes back on and get a TVS 2300 in a few months. I don't really feel like dumping another 2k on another turbo to continue to fight little gremlins. I think somebody fed those little bitches after midnight!
