Because the pressure waves in an exhaust system travel at the speed of sound, sound waves move faster in hot air than in cold air. Meaning, it travels further in the same amount of time in a hot gas environment versus a cold gas environment.

same thing when we raced are snowmobiles on ice, 2-strokes i know are different than 4-stroke but when those pipes got really hot they performed way better, dyno's showed i couldnt believe it.

Got my manifolds on and the pipe wrapped back to the turbo now. Thinking seriously about swapping my cam out right now as well before I head back to the tuner.

leave it alone and just show the difference from wrapping them and not. How does it feel? The spool time should be way better. what wrap did you use?

Not too beneficial, but some have climed better spooling reaction. Hopefully it works out for you.

Thermo tec is the brand name. I'm just now going to drive it and see if there is a difference.

if your still not spooling quick enough u might need the piping after the intercooler
