For sound control and good flow, Corsa would be my number 1 followed by Magnaflow.
I agree. Also, try the DB series, from Corsa. That, if ya don't need a complete system & want just the muffler. Borla maybe too.

3" seems near the top, maybe 3 1/2", but ya don't wanna...never mind. Why not just get a 3" & call it a day? Beyond that, if u want mandrel bends, let alone a place that has 3 1/2" or larger capability, it's gonna cost you.

Stock sound levels will be harder to come by as she gets bigger diameter.

I'm referring to the length of the muffler, not the I/O diameter.

BTW, my catback wont be anything less than 3.5"

I'll be stepping up in cubes sooner or later and I don't want to be doing things twice. Plus, a 3" Y pipe should merge into something bigger than a single 3"

Gotcha, I gotta think a Big Block style case is gonna check in ~22-26" long. I thought of that after, maybe Mike meant length. Oh well.

BTW, how many people on here are running 3 1/2" piping?

I've had the 22" magnaflow before. Not a fan. I want something quieter. I'll add a 3.5" cutout when I want to get roudy. Best of both worlds.

I have a 32" magna flow, sounds pretty good i guess. Stay away from flowcrapper's with FI. The added heat and exhaust flow broke the baffle's on my exhaust on two different mufflers. That was a PITA and sounded really bad after a while.
