Default Few questions about the Radix on an 04 Tahoe

I was just hoping you guys could give me an idea of what kind of power these things put down. Was wondering what kind of 0-60 times and quarter mile times and was also wanting to know about maintenance and upkeep. Basically wanted to know how difficult it is owning a supercharged vehicle. Thanks for the help guys.

Well, I dont know what your dealership sticker said your horsepower is, but it lied. Mine said 285hp, I dyno'd it after a custom tune and only got 230hp at the wheels. Added a Magnacharger Radix. No maintenance really involved after install. I never dyno'd with the stock kits 6 psi pulley but Id guess...350-360 rear wheel hp. I say that because on 9psi I made 413rwhp and 447rwtq. Problem is, its addicting. Its never gonna be fast enough I just swapped a 6.0L into my Tahoe and put the radix on top. Still getting the tuning right so no numbers yet. No oil lines to deal with on a Radix, its all factory filled and sealed. Just bolt it on and load the tune and your off. (I say that like its easy, it will take 8-10 hours...20 if you're like me)

I have 02 HD silverado with radix kit my "winter beater". I lost some milage, slight cold stumble but thats it. Looks great, kit was awesome and great support. 14.7 @ 98mph 6300lb on bfg all terrains. I have done radix on 2 SSR's lately. no problem.

No upkeep. Bolt on and GO! And I mean GO.... you can't believe how much more power you'll get. It took me about 20 hours but then I hadn't spun a wrench since the early 60's so I spent a lot of that 20 hrs reading directions and trying to figure stuff out. By the way, the instructions are incredibly comprehensive with a picture for each and every instruction. VERY helpful. The pics got me out of several jams where I didn't understand the language of the newer technology.... like MAF, knock sensor, IAT, etc.

my av is setting on a tahoe frame so im pretty close to what you would have with the radix...stock motor with a custom tune and 3.1 pulley would net you 350 hp and 417 tq to the wheels which makes it a hell of a daily driver for anybody...i installed a comp cam and netteed 409 hp and 430 tq and im done modding this thing...its good where its at..im happy!!!

i agree with everyone else. bolt and go! only thing you should worry about is having a few extra sets of tires ready!

Do most of you guys use your supercharged vehicle as your daily driver? Also how often does the oil in the unit have to be changed out?
