Beautiful build and oh so clean. Wow and congrats.

The pics of the air intake routed over to the other side of the truck have piqued my interest now. I cannot go through a car wash of any pressure as the water will get into the air intake and then the truck runs like crap of course. I only did this once and have avoided car washes with high pressure spray like that ever since.

Should help my performance a bit if reroute it to take in some colder air, I would imagine. Would I have to worry about anything else though if I did this rerouting of the air intake?

Are you talking about rerouting it like idahoblkss did?

Yes. One experience with my Escalade after going through a high power pressure car wash was very scary, so have been looking for solution, and this one looks pretty good.

I liked the simplicity of my air filter being directly on the blower and I don't have to worry because I don't take it to high pressure car washes!

I guess my only other concern is driving in heavy rain. Would like to make the problem go away. Probably just paranoid because of how sick my Escalade was until the water dried up.
