To say Casey's truck is an STS truck is an overstatement too. I'm not sure if there's much on that thing that STS built. IIRC it's mostly custom fab'd, so it's not technically an STS kit. Rearmount yes, but STS no.

To the OP, with a 10, you might have the quickest truck that the STS parts can or could support.

I'm trying a bigger housing to hopefully drop some backpressure and pick up some power on top. I'm seeing a huge drop in power above 5k and I want to keep from blowing the motor up from back pressure. It might not work but it's worth a shot to get a little more out of the STS kit before I go front mount next year.

If you can brake boost full boost why does a bigger exhaust housing matter? I am going with a PT76 on a .96 and should work just fine on my new setup. I am shootin for 10's with a stock 6L and a custom cam. 2ktransam you gonna head stud it?

I would advise lowering your truck, it'll help it a lot on the launch so it doesnt jump around and fight you.

I'm not planning on putting in head studs. I've been pushing this motor for over a year on high boost and it hasn't pushed any water yet so hopefully I won't need them.

I did lower it 2" in the front and back but I can't go any lower living in the north east. I wish I had a six inch lift right now so I could drive in the 20 inches of snow that we just got. LOL
