12.46 @ 99.00 mph, Stuck in second gear. I don't think they make a bigger, Heavier fullsize SUV than this one.
2003 Suburban
6652 with me in it.

Wait till I get my slicks on. LOL

Wheels aren't ready yet, but it is the last track weekend of the season until next May, so I ran my useless street tires at today's test and tune. Kinda like racing in the rain. First run they at least let me start in the groove, but I still couldn't get going and let off early cause it was my first time to the big end of the track - 12.85 at 106. Second time I couldn't hold the pedal down until the 10 sec mark without spinning. How's 15.9 at 114.5? LOL

64XX lbs with me in it and the back seat still out due to DS loop install. 2800 rear axle weight.

Thanks. I ran small 235 General Grabber UHPs up front for better handling and a V speed rating, with my 305/20 Nitto 420S's out back. At least I got 18 MPG on the drive out there! Think I will need a cage, and probably some other safety stuff if I ever hook.

What happened to 3rd? I could give you my 1st gear, it is useless to me. LOL

Lol My 1st goes up in smoke! It's in the tune. I bailed at 6442 rpm should of waited to 6700. Something about tq and timing. lowered the shift point and raised the tq value? does that sound right? I don't know I just drive the dam thing Lol!

Been invited to thunder bay next summer, guess they use an airstrip. We of all need that.

Ray

give a ring some time! been a while.

Might have helped to have an earlier WOT shift into second because there was no way the tires would stick until it would stay in 2nd.

Is there a track right at Thunder Bay? Our track at Gimli is an ex military base airstrip. Nice, long shutdown area. It occasionally still gets used as a runway too!

Slicks and a major engine rebuild - winter project I was down to at most 6 cylinders by the end of the vid. Pulled the engine yesterday. Haven't had the heads off yet, but I'm not expecting it to be pretty.

I have 4WD, just that I am pretty sure I can break that too!
