i have a pimp set up

Stainless works 1 3/4 headers
True 3 inch duals to the magnaflow dual 3 inch in/out muffler
Muffler has internal x pipe also and flows great
Then turned down right after the muffler

Ask anyone here that has heard the truck sounds bad ***.

Another thought, which would be better for mildly boosted 6.0?

1 5/8" primary, 3" collector

or

1 3/4" primary, 2.5" collector

im running no cats pacesetter lt and true dual 3" mandrel bent piping. my mufflers are the racing series magnaflows round 3" in/out little to no back pressure loud as @#$* btw

A huge difference to a Nascar team might be 10hp, that is north of 9000rpm and 800hp. this stuff is being massively over thought, IMO. Most of us would never see a power difference between 1-3/4 and 1-7/8" primarys or different merge styles with a collector that has a 3" outlet.

Been reading this write up and it has helped my decision alot. I think for me, planing on staying under 6000 rpms, the larger primaries would be wasted. I would probably even benefit from the smaller pimaries.
