Default ENG. TORQUE TABLES using HP TUNERS

Hoping someone here uses HP tuners 1.0. The tuner will not allow me to set the max engine torque above 640. The same for the max eng torque VS rpm VS gear tables. Appreciate some help.

640 is as high as it goes. Don't worry, it does not limit your output to 640 ft/lbs, your torque will not be limited.

If you want to blow up your trans, zero out the "Spark Retard vs. Torque Reduction" table. Zeroing this table will also eliminate any other torque reduction, like traction control for instance.
Or you can leave this table alone and in "Transmission", under "Torque Reduction", you can lower the numbers to firm your shifts.
Is that what you're trying to do, make it shift harder?

Also, the max torque rpm vs. gear is just for electronic throttle, and max torque vs. rpm is just when the tcc is locked.

I don't think my 4L80E is in jeopardy. It's a PATC trany in a 2900 lb car. Thanks for the tuning info.

The shift is firm enough, or at least it was when I had it in my truck. Its know in a 260z project. My concern is the engine might exceed the "640" max tuning tables. Thanks again for the help
