Default EGT's on gas turbos

Ok, so I was curious on what kind of EGT's I have on my setup, so I bought a EGT probe that works with my EFILive, since I can use it with the diesels too. I installed the probe inbetween the last cyclinder and the turbo (about 8"). What I'm seeing is a max of about 1500-1550* at the end of a WOT run with both low and high boost (7/11lbs). AFR is good about mid 11's in both. Also spraying meth (well, windshield washer fluid) though a M10 nozzle. Just driveing down the highway seems to be around 1150-1250. Anyone have any thought or input on this? Anyone else watch EGT's? What are you seeing? Here's the log.

Very interested in this. I've been thinking about doing the same thing but haven't been able to find much good info on the subject.

Do egt probes have to be on an individual cylinder, or can they go in a collector?

You could moniter all 8, but I just put it so it see's the whole thing at the collector. Cheaper that way

That's pretty much exactly what I used to see with the LQ9 and the GT67. I took mine off however (to make room for the FP gauge).

What EGT ranges would be considered rich, safe, and lean for forced induction?

I have my probe located after the y-pipe and see 1000-1100 at cruise (75-80) and 1300 max (long periods of boost/WOT). This is with no meth and AFR's around 11.8.

I am a radix truck, my EGT is located as Sleeper04's. I see about the same cruising as Sleeper, 1000ish. Actually usually high 900's. Like 990. 1/4 Mine, I cross at 1400 to high 1400's.

My wideband shows 11.7ish at WOT but my NBO2's(vette rear's) are real low, like 810 maybe 790's.

Ny EGT's read around 1100 after a WOT run I can see them hit 1300-1400. I wouldn't want them much hotter than that, more fuel will keep them cooler.
