I want to see some IAT's too. Should be next week if i get the hose thing worked out.

Anyone see any reason this method would not work? Stock is on the left and i want to change it to look like the one on the right.

I found a perfect match for my lower hose at Auto Zone, and i found a place that sells "tee's" just for this type of application...

Looks like i will be in good shape soon.

Now how in the heck did you find that place? Tell the truth, this whole I/C project is fake, and it was all to promote that website, right? That website definitely got stored in my list, thank-you.

Hours of web surfing. I am cutting no corners this time. I even found the place that designs all our GM fittings from oil cooler connectors to the radiator connector thats giving me hell...

http://www.jiffy-tite.com/automotive.cfm?subpage=373

Now if i could find that connector with 2 barbed fittings instead of one....i would be in fat city!

Also realized last night, (not that it matters) but that lower hose coupling didnt actually burst, It just pulled apart from the copper 45* elbow. Either way it was a disaster waiting to happen. This new setup should work out much better.

Still would really like to pick up a Dmax fan clutch if anyone has any leads as to where i can get one. They go for about $150 on the GM sites. $97 at gmpartsdirect, but after shipping from them, it would $150 anyway.

Man i just got off the phone with these guys and i gotta tell ya, they kick ***. The guy asked me what i wanted and i told him what the fitting looks like now with the 2 tees coming off the top. He said we can do that, just cost you about $5 more. So now it will be just like it should be. One single brass barbed splice with 2 barbed tees coming out of the top, one 5/8" and one 1". This should work out real nice.....
