Damn, I was hoping to pick up a 420 on the cheap
Just screwing with ya. I do have a 3" pulley coming but I'm going to run the 3.2" a few more times before swapping.
This thread is very encouraging for sure

yes i blew up the 6.0 but not with boost. i had a nitrous noid stick open and i tried to start the engine**boom**
you will need a kick *** 4l60 to live at 500+rwhp. most people say not to bother with a 4l60e at over 600rwhp. a stock 4l80e(with a shift kit and proper tuning) should last awhile at 600rwhp. finishlinetrans kicks *** when you need a tranny.

Parish, i didnt know if Kyle had sent you this vid. I talked to you on myspace. Im making just over 600 at the wheels, 7psi, 150 wetshot, Its a stock 5.7 SS short block w/ ARP rod bolts. I drive the truck daily and have had no problems other than lifters ratteling, helped when i put some 20w-50 in it. I saw the caltracs and limiters you put on your truck to get it to hook, ive made a set of the limiters, still fabbing the tracbars. Havent got to run it since the addition of the limiters to see how it helps on 60'
The track on the vid is short, thats why MPH is low for the time, on true 1/8 its 7.40s @ 93ish, dont have 1/4 times, i have a built 4L65 and have been lucky so far

Hey Perish, did you advance the zo6 cam when you installed it? I'll have a similar set up as you when I'm done so any input would be greatly appreciated.
