I'm waiting for my turbo shop to decide what system to do. I know they have some reservations on the rear mount because the real performance is unknown. Here is the list I sent them and we will hopefully decide on Tuesday and then go forward. Tell me which one you guys would go for.

1. Front Mounted Turbo
a. New headers either the available shorty ones which have to small of
primary tubes, or custom one's $$ sized right
b. New turbo, plumbing, waste gate and other needed parts
c. Remove long tube headers, kenne bell SC, throttle body, all new
intercooler plumbing, re-fabricate throttle,transmission & cruise cables.
d. Exhaust modifications, major
e. Labor
f. Tuning
g. Horsepower Range: ?
h. Cool factor: Pretty Cool!

2. Rear Mount Turbo
a. Turbo system & plumbing
b. Exhaust modifications, minor
c. Second Intercooler
d. Underhood plumbing
e. Labor
f. Tuning
g. Horsepower Range: ?
h. Cool Factor: WAY COOL!!

I'd go for option number 1.

I see with option #1 you're getting rid of the SC, but if you go rear mount would you still keep the SC?

Yes, with option two I would be adding a rear mount and intercooler to feed the SC.

I agree! The front mounts been done, the rear mounts been done, the SC been done, the front mount w/SC has been done, but NOBODY has done a rear mount WITH a SC!

I really wanted to, but I never found a SC that I could afford .
