well seen some on ls1 tech on the trans ams and camaros and they seem to be fine so i said **** it im trying it lol

I don't think it's ricey to stick out slightly. If you stick it out a little it helps to make sure it doesnt filter back into the engine bay. I'd prefer an angle of 45* towards the ground instead of straight back. It makes me think of the old school planes that just dumped out the sides kind of.

Looks good. Mines done the same way, actually closer to flush than yours and i have no problems at all with it. A little suit down the side after awhile with no bath, but thats it.

Yea eventually I want to redo mine and cut it at an angle so the hole in the fender is more of an oval. And then put the trim ring around it and have the exhaust completely flush in an oval. That or leave it how it is now and finish running my wastegate pipes into a single 2" and have it exit out the fender right below the 4" so that theyre stacked. Then make a sheet metal trim peice myself that fits around both.
