Yah it will a little, but you can still see them through it. Atleast mine you could, that was with them dim, 10% tint

Haha guess I will just have to pick my battles. I have learned that the little rice burners and imports are usually not worth the effort or gas

Great ideas guys thanks. Hey Brent1976 could you post a daylight pic of how that is sitting with your gauge cluster? That looks really good.

No pictures, but it was pretty simple. I don't remember if someone else did a write-up, or just put pictures of theirs mounted like this.

I pulled the dash apart, took the bezel out. Then took that apart, and drilled a hole with a hole bit. There is copper foil/solder there, but it is for a factory trans temp gauge that isn't there, so I drilled through it. Then you have to cut a hole in the back cover of the bezel for the wires to go through, and that's it. It took me less than an hour.

OP, have you looked at 2007chevy5.3l's gauge pod? Goes in the over head console, looks really nice and most people dont even notice it lol

i put a single gauge in the left side ac/heat vent using kydex(not sure if i spelled that right) i milled some slots in it so air still blows through too.

i got 3 gauges hangin on the a pillar but still no one wants to play with me... are all the F&F racers scared of a little cam and open headers?!

Too bad autometer doesnt make an overhead pod for the GMT-900 trucks like the do for the older body style. I really dont want to have an apilar pod, they just attract way too much attention but theres not really any other option.
