Justin, I dont think you will have to change the j-tube in order to get the flange to bolt up the TB. The Nick Williams cable driven TB's are availale in a 3 bolt configuration. Only the opening needs to be ported. I dont THINK that a new j-tube with a 90mm flange is needed.

Im going to look into this further...

I am almost certain there will be a limited availability to do an exchange type program or a fast turn around if you send in your J-Tube It all depends on what is feasable for the sponsor.

Well, I just ordered my TB, Harness, and the TAC,
They will ship out today. Now I am just waiting on the "J" tube convertion flange "Hint, Hint"

So for older trucks like ours we might not need to do anything except port the J-Tube opening a bit?

What I would recommend is doing the J-Tube conversion flange and running the UMI 90mm TB due to its parabolic design.

Can you expand on the parabolic design aspect of the UMI? How is it different that a Nick Williams? Just curious?

Would there be a benifit or potential problems if I had the 90mm TB and "J" tube polished when I did the conversion?
I read on another post where either BlownChevy or MoreGrip said not to polish the TB, you might have idling issues
