man nice price, you might see about getting the head heat hardend again.. That much welding might have softened the head in that area... Still looks bad ***... Awsome job and really go price.

very cool Jim. that would have been alot of wasted money down the drain. Thats the exact reason why im practicing tuning on the 6.0 before i put the real motor in

there are several guys in town running around with high hp and heads welded up by this guy. aparently it is a common thing to do and he said mine was kind of minor compared to some he has fixed. i will give them a try and run it way rich. see what happens.

i dont know about any winter passes. it is a prety long drive to any track to risk breaking something again. i hope the truck is up and running in the next couple of weeks. i still need the motor back.

nothing new other than i think i might get rid of the comp r lifters and see if it gets any quieter. it seems to have a lot of valvetrain noise and i guess that is common with the comp r lifters. i would be willing to give up a few hp to keep it quiet. i might even toss in a slightly smaller cam and really tame the motor down.
