is that where they mount the intercooler in the kit, if so thats not the most efficient or inteligent place to put it, not only is it angled way back and not getting its full potnetial of air, but its also acting as a skid plate, and as you found out its not a very good one. stick it behind the grill.

We shipped his kit with an intercooler without brackets and he made his own brackets. Below is a photo of how the cooler mounts in the kit.

Ya I had a huge one behind the grill with the procharger.


But I am waiting on a 1500HP air to water to come in so I can run a new blow off valvle and 3" alluminum piping. So it wont be a problem after that. This is just temporary.
