Heres the deal guys, I'm SLOWLY gathering parts for a forged 370 with L92 heads and planning on doing a KB 2.8c or tvs1900/ 2300 kit. I'm taking my time so I can put it all together at once and install it with the FLT trans and 26-2800 stall converter that I already have. My truck is a SCSB with an AWD conversion and 3.73 gears in the front and rear.

For the 370 I plan on buying the heads new and bare to get a port/polish and 3 or 5 angle valve job done, LS7 lifters, 7.4 pushrods, stock length rods, and something like a -15cc dished piston (if that would be good for a blower)

Next question is, what cam to go with? What are some things I need to take into account when trying to pick the best cam for this setup? The truck will be daily driven, but looking for a decent streetable cam that will yield some good results.

Don't have any cam recommendations....But your build sounds solid.

 

Try something in the 22x/23x range.. Not to big, not to small..
