a stock converter on a 408 is a bad idea if you ask me. If you want a close to stock stall speed, thats cool but get a stronger unit in there. We need more info on the setup to start suggesting cams. what truck, weight, purposes, gears, tranny, lots of variables

youre in that custom grind zone of cams, though off the shelf cams would work and probably work well, id go for something thats gonna get all it can out of the build!

Haha yah opps forgot to add truck info... 2005 Sierra single cab short bed 4.11 4x4 looking for low end torque cam. kit is high comp -3 flat top wiseco pistons around 12.1 compression. 10 psi boost. I'm still looking for overdrive crank pulley and hd belt tensioner.

Yes very good point on converter I forgot about that I'll just keep using it till it breaks then just get new one I like the stock stall feel.

Skeet I would love a custome cam but I want to order a cam today and have it here next week so I just want a tried cam by members of this great forum that has powerful low end torque on supercharged trucks.

I'll make a video when everything is installed in few weeks

Thank you

Looking for some maybe 115 or 116 slightl smooth idle less blower clicking at idle...I am worried if I put a 112 the rotor pins inside the blower will start to hit that spring in the nose make a clicking sound. Is there a solid isolator to replace the stock spring in the nose.

Also would like people to know The search sux all I see is ford 408 cams there is nothing for ls1 with google search.

Dose anyone with radix and 408 ever installed a cam there is nothing on google

I don't think I have seen anyone with a 112 and a 408. I don't know if you will get 10psi out of it, that static compression will help you some so the supercharger doesn't have to fill as much cylinder.

Atomic had a 408 and a tvs1900 and it made 8psi. Could Pm him about the cam.

I had a similar setup, 408, 11:1 compression, stockish 317 heads, tvs1900 with a 2.8" pulley

It made about 8psi. Torque was freaking insane.

I had a 218/230 .600/.600 117 cam and it sounded basically stock, drove like stock, and had awesome midrange.

Something like a 224/234 116 would play nice with your cubes. Start saving for heads and a TVS2300 right now
