Turbo's are like skittles, just try them all.

In two years I've had a Master Power t70/P, Magnum 72/Q, Magnum 76/Q dual BB, PTE 76GTS, BW race cover billet 11 blade s475/83, and race cover stand BW s480/92.

Taste the rainbow!

I wouldn't say any of them was a mistake, all of them ran 10s 1/4 miles and put a big smile on my face. The small turbine stuff is a damn fun street turbo, the little 70 was awesome. The s480 pulls hard up top for sure but isn't near as snappy around town. It's all in what want, as soon as you "think" you have a perfect setup or turbo, you'll wonder what something else drives like.

Like I said, it's fun to try them all, but as you said not a cheap option unless you buy used.

And this is why I asked why not go with S480 since he has more cubes than your engine.

I dont see myself ever going passed a s480 as that can support more then I want. Maybe if I saw the track more I would just go with the 80 and call it done but its only sees the track 10-12 times a year if im lucky. My goal is just to break into the 9s. Even if thats only a 9.99 pass im fine with that.

I think a 76/92 all decked out will spool fast and pull just like a 80 up top. Its not cheap going with the 76 with everything but if it gives me best of both worlds then its money well worth it.

Not much difference in RPM but the 76 spools faster at X rpm. My S480 will make 15 + psi at 3500 rpm but the 76mm will make 18 psi at 3500 rpm and do it a sec and half sooner. The 76 also will hit pk boost faster.

think im going to get the billet ETR-HO s476/92 wth race cover and run it on a 365/370 motor.

it should be the best all around turbo (i hope lol) for track/ street driving/ street racing for long highway pulls.

even if i only runs 10.1s at the track ill be happy with that. i think breaking into the 9s is asking tomuch with wanting all the other things. if the truck had less weight to it im sure it would do it with no problem.

anyone have an other opinions before i pull out the CC and buy this ****? lol
