you get what you pay for. i wouldn't want a bunch of china made junk on my truck. you must of got some used injectors for $100. $400 is as cheap as i have seen new. to get new good quality parts you will spend a min. of $4000

4000 ? Are you crazy. I don't have that much in my whole car....lol. injectors are that cheap if you can do a little modification...just get a set of ls3 42lb and make a spacer and get new ends. Nothing wrong with cheap parts if you shop around. He said budget build.

props to you for a building a cheap turbo kit, most guys are going to have more than $4000 in a good turbo build. i'm over a $1000 in tuning and dyno time alone. if you build your own hot side piping and do your own tuning that will save a lot of money. i wouldn't trust my engine on a $60 wastegate and 42lb inj won't get you to far on hp. save money and wait to do everything the right way w/good parts. i'll post this link for the second time its a great read.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I messed up on my options when a made my account so i was getting no email notification of any replies. lol. And i thought you guys hated me. Haha. But anyway after some more research the past few days I've been ordering ALOT of stuff. Heres a update of what i have on the way so far.

junkyard 5.3 80k miles- $500
Th400 with bolt on yoke- $100

-s400 75mm inducer 83 exducer 1.10 ar T6 -$690
-Drain and feed stuff -$80
-2 38mm wastegates -$113
-50mm BOV -$85
- Everything to complete the V band hotside -$110
-Megasquirt 3 w/X board with harness (Full sequential fuel and ignition) -$581
-Stock pump feeding a 1 gal surge tank, to a Walbro 255 inline -$117
- -8 feed and return line all the fittings and hoses -$140
- Swap mounts -$60
- Devils Own Water/Meth 16gph nozzles -$165
- Dyno Tune nitrous wet kit -Freebie from old build
- 317 heads -Freebie Traded 5.3 heads for em
-AEM wideband -$168
- flexplate spacer for the Th400 -$40

Still on the list...
-ARP Head studs or bolts
- 60-80lb injectors Ev1 style High Imp.
- Rearend
-Race seats
-Stall converter with anti- ballooning plate
- Driveshaft cut to length
- Z06 Cam and springs
- Intercooler and piping

I know i said it was a budget build, Well it still is. So far total cost is a little over $3600 including the $700 purchase of the truck. So im still on budget build status in my book.

Cant wait to get it done. Ill start a build thread when the parts start rolling in. Thanks for the help fellas.

add the trunion upgrade too for a piece of mind. do 8.8 out of an explorer for a strong rear end.

If you could have waited awhile I could have sold you the stock bucket from the 01 blazer with walbro 255 in it for less than what you paid for the inline setup. We are about to go entire new fuel system and all and this wont be used any more. Seems like you are getting some pieces put together. I am in the same boat. Collecting everything for the turbo

I also have one or 2 plastic bucket race seats with the padding. You can get those from us cheap also. We plan on going kirkeys lol.
