Ah right I got ya. Yeah you need to jet 2-3 times as much on fuel side. I'm wanting to do a setup like yours but on a 4.8 instead. 600 to the ground would be awesome. I'm setting my goals at 550 though

I think hes referring to the stoichiometric air/fuel of methanol being 6:1 and gasoline being 14.7:1. Gunna need over twice the amount of methanol to make up for the same amount of nitrous. If your looking at lowering IAT's, both nitrous and methanol do this. A small 50 shot would do wonders IMO.

in ~4"before the throttle body. Neither Meth nor Nitrous really made much of a difference in IATs. Having an over sized HXR allowed for a slower heat ramp rate and faster cool down.

alright so ill be running the tvs 1900 shortly and i picked up a alky control meth kit. also just got a trick composite tank that i was planning on using for the intercooler but i may for meth instead. got an hsw wet kit too
the question is does anyone or has anyone ran 100% meth for knock control and cooling on boost as well as using the methanol as a fuel for a wet nitrous setup. obviously it would be a stand alone setup. would need a pump and regulator for the n2o and would need to change over to a methanol safe solenoid.

You can use meth and nitrous together, its just jetting. But here is what I think would be a better option for.
Send that tank back, and can build you a DUAL tank combo for that area. It would need to be alittle taller and you would loose that support bracket there.
1/2tank would be fuel for your nitrous. The other 1/2 would be water for the supercharger. ( really a 30/70 or 40/60 would work fine) You do not need much fuel storage for nitrous. And having a larger water tank for boost is always better.
Anyway back on track.
Then tap your windshield reservoir for your water/meth injection. Then you will know when your water/meth is running low.
Set it up so your water/meth is always working, helping things out while on the street etc. And only use the nitrous when you really need it.
Nitrous is -127f. 50shot not worth messing with, 100-150 will get your attention...
The amount of nitrous needed to cool anything is freakishly hi. Pot of boiling water (represents the air in the engine) 1 ice cube (reps, the nitrous) of a 50shot.
Why not run straight meth with nitrous.
Methanol and ethanol are very corrosive so you will need to service your fuel supply parts from time to time to make sure they are in working order. Nitrous companies sale pistons for your fuel solenoid, but usually do not tell you, not to use aluminum fittings so they will corrode and could cause an issue later in life.
I was in the nitrous industry for 9+years, and in that time line I dealt with only a handful of people that used methanol as there fuel enrichment for nitrous. Those were already running methanol and did not want to have a second fuel system to deal with. But they understood about the servicing the parts.

Im in the same boat shino and will be doing meth and hitting the button at the track. Trever injects before the rotors and I have seen bars installed after the rotors... What would be the more efficient place to inject both meth and nitrous? Is Trever leaving anything on the table by going before the charger? (huge #s w/ a 1900 btw, very impressed) Is there any info to support the "before or after" debate?

going before is easy, going after the compressor requires custom machine work and modification to the blower assembly. Trick was working on this a while back, maybe has something ofered now?
