During the summer monsoons, our DA's are sometimes over 7000ft (3000ft actual) due to heat and humidity. That's like being in CO on a summer day.
It's almost to the point where you're like WTF am I doing at the track. All cars are running at least 1 sec slower than they should be. 
It's like running up here on a nice spring day. Try running up hear on a 100* day you will be 2 seconds off. DA can reach over 11,000'. I have watched a LS7 Zo6 run mid 13's on slicks. Heat combined with altitude
