Make sure your pipes are bead rolled.

And get the band clamps. The warm gear clamps don't hold very well. And before you slide the coupler onto the pipe, spray some hair spray onto the pipe. It will help hold it together.

I also got mine from siliconeintakes. They are decent and I haven't had a single problem with them. You Must use T-bolt clamps and you need some kind of a bead on the pipes. Either bead roll it if its aluminum, or you can do like I did with my 16ga mild steel pipes. I Just welded a bead around the ends, about 1/2" from the end of the pipe.

Or take a hammer and punch and put some dimples in the tube from the inside out. Clamping on those "high" spots will keep the coupler from blowing off. It works!

T bolt clamps are a must and bead roll the pipe.

Here is a simple way to bead roll the pipes that works great. I did it on both of my turbo trucks and have never had a pipe blow off.
