Default Boost with 87 octane and meth injection

I am wanting to know if anyone does or if its even possible to run 87 octane with meth injection in my truck with 9 psi, reliably, safely and still be able to stomp on it if i wish?

Most are going to ask why bother when its only a few dollars more for premium per tank. Well I get free gas but only 87 octane. I race sport bikes for fun and drive 2 - 8 hours all around to different tracks 2-3 times a month during summer. So I would like to use my supercharged truck with titan fuel tank to pull my enclosed trailer around to the tracks and it always nice to save money on fuel.

thanks

Most people are probably going to tell you it's not worth taking the risk of having the chance of pre-ignition. Worst case you could start buying a crap load of octane booster.

The answer is you will probably be fine if you back down the timing some around peak torque just to be safe. Its a large risk though. Buy a bunch of 87 (since you get it free), and sell it at 75% of market price then go buy some 93.

I'd do it if I had free 87 fuel. Just knock back the timing and keep it safe. With a procharger, you not really seeing a lot of boost most of the time any way.
