Bringing this thread back from the dead..

Was researching what to do about my overflow tank/turbo dilemma and stumbled on this. Was looking at the pictures and it dawned on me that this is a tank for a 1996-2004 DOHC/SOHC Mustang. Being that I'm a closet Ford guy, I'm hoping to have a stocker stashed away somewhere in the shop. For others looking into the same issure, a used OEM one can be had on ebay for ~$30 bucks.

Foose.. are you still running this tank? Do you have that small steam line tied into the head and are you using the OEM T coolant line off the water pump?

Talk to Atomic. He has a pretty good setup he is selling for the coolant tanks. I just bought one of his steel tanks. He is also building them in Aluminum.

Overall I like it a lot better and it cost me 125 bucks.

i did the same tank on my truck and noticed an issue only after really long pulls (past 100mph) that coolant is pushing past my cap and making a good little mess when it does. Truck doesn’t get no where near hot, runs pretty cool to be honest and doesn’t have any bad headgasket signs so wondering if ive just been having too much coolant in the system or not bleeding air out I don’t know. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
