Default BlownChevy - Need Help: Lost Boost!!!

04 Avv 5.3l: 10-12k since install. Went from 6.5-7lbs boost, 330rwhp & 374torq to 3.5lbs, 285rwhp & 330lbs torq. Waste gate seems fine, belt not slipping and no leaks...R/

Check your intake manifold bolts and make sure they are tq to spec (19 inch pounds)

Also check to make sure your balancer has not spun on the crank.

my installer spoke to Mag and they want us to send the blower back to them. Apperently they feel theer is a prob with an internal bearing on the waste gate (?) or selenoid. They did trouble shooting with the truck on the dyno and concluded it was a blower prob and not engine related. R/

do they think this is an isolated case? or is a wide spread defect?
