At that much boost you are probably floating the valves. I had the same problem and once I swapped the springs it was all good.

The breaking up is all of third gear in the 1/4 mile.... I was told if it was valve float it would only be in the high about to shift rpm range. Going to gap the plugs this weekend and then test it....

I promise you its your valve springs. The stock springs can't take that much boost and will float. Get some patriot golds or some 918's.

I had the same problem in 3rd @ 16#'s. I gapped my plugs down to .025 & raised my dwell time above 4000 rpm's to fix it. But since you are running stock springs it could be that.
