Default Blower rotor peeling

Just discovered the, um, "animated" thread about Ford Lightning blowers. Since I don't own a Ford, I'll stay out of the main argument, but something I read concerns me. It was mentioned that the rotor coating can peel off and plug up the intercooler. Does this happen with the Radix units used on GM trucks as well? Is there any way to prevent or mitigate it short of taking the blower apart and scraping the stuff off, which I most definitely do NOT want to do for a variety of reasons? How long is it before this starts to happen? Has this created problems for any GM guys???

Not an issue on the Radix system. The Radix uses the Gen 5 rotors from EATON, these are coated with the APC, and have not shown any issues at all to date.

DO NOT REMOVE THE COATING FROM THE ROTORS.
