Blow through MAF
#1
I have a vortech supercharger and switched from the bypass valve to a tial BOV because the bypass broke. Im running 7-8 lbs of boost and would like to have my set up blower - bov - MAF. However, right now its MAF - blower - BOV so it reads a leak everytime it blows out the metered air. My tuner was able to get my truck running well with the current set up but not perfect.
Has anyone here used a blow through MAF? All Ive seen on this site are the 2bar MAP sensors with the speed density tunes.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Yea, plenty of people run that with turbo kits. I ran mine like that with 10psi, and I tuned it myself. I'm no expert though.
You have the right idea with the order you want to do. BOV should always be before the MAF.

I am not sure how the vortec set up works but my procharger set up is blowing through the maf.. Blower-maf-intake.. I have read that a blow off valve will not function properly with a centri set up...
